I really like how you stated your philosophy! I think it really sums up how teaching should be done when it comes to working with young children. I also agree on always having fun and enriching the minds of children, because if you can't make teaching fun in some way or another I feel you shouldn't be teaching! I really liked your philosophy though! Very strong points! :o)
My name is Nicki Gernot and I am from Toledo, Ohio. I have worn many hats over the years and have enjoyed most of them. The most valuable have been the time spent with children and the creativity alive in everyone. There are so many different ways we can express ourselves; artistically, verbally, physically. As long as people are trying to do their best each day, we should be O.K.! Let the fun shine on!
I have been able to work with children all over Northwest Ohio. I have been Miss Nicki to some and Ms. Gernot to others. I have worked with Lucas and Wood County Educational Service Centers for several years and have worked with Sylvania and Bowling Green City Schools. I will be graduating this December from Bowling Green State University and continue teaching, that place is still undecided! I do know, that I have had a great team of educators help me get to this point.
